Specializing in barbering, cutting, color, and updos, she brings a wealth of expertise to her craft. Originally from Martins Ferry, Ohio, Shelley now resides in St. Clairsville with her husband George and their three dogs, Sadie, Walter, and Betty. When not working, she enjoys traveling, crafting, spending time with family and friends, and rescuing all the dogs and horses!

This year, after completing educational courses through NUDA, she has expanded her role to become a Certified Spray Tan Artist. She loves making clients feel their best with a fresh tan, one that best matches the client’s desired level of darkness, without being orange! Our spray tan solutions are the best on the market! Matilynn McNickle is the first person you will see when entering the salon and the last person you will see when leaving the salon. She is our front desk receptionist at the Martins Ferry location. Matilynn works diligently to keep our work environment organized and tidy. Whether the task is answering the phone, entering notes based on the service provided by a stylist, completing a transaction, stocking inventory, or tending to our laundry, she is never inattentive. She shows great care for our team and, more importantly, our clients. Matilynn joined our team as a receptionist in September of 2023. Since the day she began working with us, she has continuously learned new ways to support our team and our clients. She has nearly mastered our online booking system, and she is happy to help wherever necessary. Matilynn is very perseverant and is willing to go the extra mile to help her teammates and the salon community.

A talented makeup artist with nine years of experience, Kale has a passion for making people feel and look beautiful. By day, she balances her work as a receptionist where her energetic personality shines through. Outside of working in the salon you can catch her at one of her two additional jobs, at the arcade, or at the game store, or you can find her doing art or playing video games. Whether Kale is engaging with clients or applying makeup, her goal is to spread positivity, confidence, and plenty of laughter among her peers.
